I’ve recently begun photographing events for the Yelp Grand Rapids community, thanks to Katy, the Community Ambassador for our area. It’s been a great opportunity to help people connect with local businesses and organizations, like the Grand Rapids Ballet.
I’m looking forward to working with the local Yelp community more in the future!
I first met Phil through my day job, as he does voice over recording for the radio station I work at. The station is up here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Phil’s actually down in Orlando, Florida, working out of his own studio, so it’s a rare treat that we get together in person.
This last visit he came up to Grand Rapids, and we did some extra recording in the studio. I took advantage of the time to take some off-the-cuff photographs as he recorded, and they show what’s it’s really like to record in a production studio.
He’s a good friend, and I’m glad I had the chance to capture our time together!
I was pleased, this past fall, to be asked by Keys for Kids Ministries if I would be able to cover their annual fundraising dinner. Since I also work there, and love using my skills to help, I said of course I would!
It was exciting to see so many supporters of the ministry come hear all the amazing ways that God is working, and to be able to capture all of that. It was a chance to connect, communicate, and praise God together.
